The Colorado Basin Roundtable, along with eight other Basin Roundtables and the Inter Basin Compact Committee (IBCC) were created by the Colorado Legislature “TO FACILITATE CONTINUED DISCUSSIONS WITHIN AND BETWEEN BASINS ON WATER MANAGEMENT ISSUES, AND TO ENCOURAGE LOCALLY DRIVEN COLLABORATIVE SOLUTIONS TO WATER SUPPLY CHALLENGES…” The Basin Roundtables were instrumental in development of the recently adopted Colorado Water Plan and will play a key role in the Plan’s implementation.
The general public and other interested “stakeholders” are invited and encouraged to attend Roundtable meetings and actively participate in the Colorado Basin Roundtable process.
